Course description

This course provides learners with an introduction to the basic rules, tactics and positions for this fast-paced inclusive sport. The award is accredited by Tchoukball UK.

Who is the course for?

The course is designed for trainee teachers, qualified teachers, coaches, those wanting to assist coaching in Tchoukball clubs and those wanting to learn more about the sport.

What’s the value of this course?

This course could lead to paid or voluntary roles in coaching the sport of tchoukball in a variety of settings.

Learner eligibility

Learners must:

  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Be appropriately identified
  • Be able to communicate effectively in English (this includes listening, speaking, reading and writing

Assessment (if applicable)

Learners will be assessed continually through the course.

Format / duration

The course lasts 3 hours and is 100% practical. 

Progression opportunities

The skills and knowledge developed through this course may also be used enable learners to progress to other industry-relevant qualifications in coaching other sports, supporting PE in school sport and sports development.
