On Tuesday 25th June, Tottenham Hotspur stadium hosted the first Beyond Sport UK conference in partnership with Sport England, our Business Manager Natalie Davis attended the event. There were workshops throughout focused around how to use sport as a tool for social change. It is very fitting as a subject, with a lot of sports organisations being pushed to think about how they contribute to influence wider social outcomes through the work that they do.
Sport plays a transformative role in society, we have a real opportunity to create a more sustainable, integrated and peaceful world, setting out on a path to a stronger nation and to achieving the UK Global Goals for sustainable development. Key speeches from Sport England CEO, Uk Sport and other industry leading experts gave information on the direction of travel in the industry and also updates on current progress to date. As always it was a good opportunity to meet other organisations, both public and private and share ideas and best practice.
