Course Information
We are delighted to confirm your place on the 1st4Sport Level 3 Award for Tutors and Assessors in Sport qualification.
Pre-course Checklist
In order to ensure a positive learning environment and a smooth start to the course, learners are required to:
- Have access to good Wi-Fi
- Have access to a laptop or tablet. A smart phone device is acceptable but functionality for interactive elements of the workshop is limited. Therefore, a laptop or tablet is strongly recommended. The device must have access to a microphone as the workshop will be interactive
- Have access to an environment with limited distractions which is conducive to learning
- Log into the virtual classroom ahead of the course (10 minutes ahead of time if possible)
- Contribute to discussions and activities
- Have access to a pen and paper to take notes.
From our experience, it is recommended that learners use Google Chrome rather than Safari or Edge. Please ensure you have no ad blockers as this may limit your ability to hear sound. Appropriate comfort breaks will be provided throughout the course.
Technical Challenges
We recognise when conducting virtual sessions, technology can sometimes go wrong. We encourage you to re-join the course as soon as you can. Please be aware that if you are 15 minutes late for the course, the tutor has the right to refuse your entry to the course. If you are unable to re-join, it might be that you will be required to re-join another course in the future to gain your certificate. Each circumstance will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
